Lien Violins at The NAMM Show 2019

Lien Violins participated in The NAMM Show 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, USA. The four-day event brought together the global music products, pro audio and event technology industries for new product presentations, professional exchange and international business connections.
According to NAMM, the 2019 show welcomed 115,301 registered industry professionals, more than 2,000 exhibiting member companies representing 7,000 brands, and over 400 educational sessions. The scale and diversity of the event offered a broad view of developments across the international music industry.
A Global Music Industry Gathering
The NAMM Show is an important annual meeting place for manufacturers, distributors, retailers, musicians, educators and other music professionals. Exhibiting in Anaheim allowed Lien Violins to introduce our work to visitors from different markets and to observe new products, ideas and industry trends.
Instruments and Conversations
At the exhibition, we presented a selection of bowed string instruments and welcomed musicians and professional visitors to view and try them. Each conversation offered an opportunity to discuss tone, response, setup and the individual needs of players.
These direct exchanges reflect an important part of our work: an instrument should not only be well made, but also carefully prepared and matched to the musician who will play it.
People and Connections
One of the most valuable parts of an international exhibition is meeting people face to face. During the show, we exchanged experience with musicians, makers, dealers and industry partners from different countries, while renewing existing relationships and beginning new ones.
The experience gave us fresh perspectives on the international market and new ideas to bring back to our work in Taiwan.
