David Lien Workshop violas are designed to combine a warm, resonant lower register with clarity, responsive articulation and carrying power.
Available in five performance levels and selected sizes from 11 to 16.5 inches, the series provides options for developing students, advanced players and professional performers.
Materials and Specifications
Top: Selected European spruce, naturally seasoned according to level and model
Back: Selected European maple, available in two-piece or one-piece construction
Varnish: Hand-applied oil varnish with an antiqued finish
Bridge: Despiau bridge
Construction: Traditional Cremonese-style internal mold
Final Setup: Individually fitted, adjusted and tonally voiced in Taiwan
